1. Who we are
Quiz Playground makes party quizzes that guests make together and play together.
These terms apply when you create a party, buy a pass or play along. Questions? Email hello@quizplayground.com.
Dutch law applies to these terms and to everything you buy from us.
2. What a pass is
A pass belongs to exactly one party. It sets how many players can join, which rounds you can use and how long the Recap page stays up.
Proefrondje
Price: Free
Players: Up to 8
Recap page: 7 days, with a watermark
Feestje
Price: €19
Players: Up to 30
Recap page: 30 days
Groot feest
Price: €39
Players: Up to 80
Recap page: 12 months
Bruiloft (from May 2027)
Price: €79
Players: Up to 200
Recap page: 12 months
Exactly what each pass includes, you see when you choose a pass in the Studio. With Proefrondje you can try how it works for free, without payment details.
3. Paying and VAT
You pay once per party, in advance, with iDEAL | Wero or card. Payments go through Stripe. There’s no subscription: nothing keeps running.
All prices include 21% VAT. You get a receipt by email, with the VAT listed separately. Enter a company name and VAT number at checkout if you want to expense it.
4. Upgrading
If more guests come than expected, you move to a bigger pass and pay only the difference between the two prices: in the Studio, or during the party on your host remote. A discount code only counts on your first pass. The 14-day cooling-off period counts from your latest payment; if you withdraw, you get back everything you paid for the party.
5. Refunds
If you buy a pass as a consumer, you have 14 days to change your mind from your purchase. If you withdraw, you get the full amount back, even if the show has been played.
After those 14 days you still get your money back as long as the show hasn’t been played. Your party then goes back to Proefrondje and you get an email as soon as the money is on its way.
Once the 14 days are over and the show has been played, we don’t refund, except in the cases below. A show counts as played as soon as the first question of a real game was on the TV. A test run (Proefdraaien in the Studio) never counts.
If your party goes wrong because of an outage on our side, you get your money back, no discussion.
Whatever rights the law gives you as a consumer always apply.
Ask for a refund at hello@quizplayground.com.
6. Discount codes
You enter a discount code at checkout. Each code works once per customer and you use one code per pass. A code can’t be exchanged for money.
If you played at a party, you get €5 off your first pass; you get the code after the show. The waitlist’s early bird code only works for a party between 1 February and 30 June 2027.
7. What guests send in
Sending memories, photos and voice messages is for 16 and older. Only send what you may share: your own stories, and photos and recordings you made yourself or may use.
What you send in stays yours. You only give us permission to use it for the show and the Recap page of that one party.
A show is for laughing together, not for showing someone up. Topics like looks, weight, health, money and exes don’t belong in it. Every contribution passes our AI check, and the organizer can see, change or remove every question before the show starts. Only the short sentences players fill in on arrival reach the lobby on the TV as soon as the AI check finds them safe, without the organizer seeing them first.
Until the show is locked, a guest removes their own contribution themselves on the phone they sent it from. After that, they ask the organizer or email us.
The list of words that may not appear on the screen is based on the List of Dirty, Naughty, Obscene and Otherwise Bad Words by Shutterstock and others (CC BY 4.0), adapted by us.
8. Availability
We do our best to keep Quiz Playground working at all times, but we can’t promise it never hiccups. So run the test in the Studio beforehand: you see a test picture and hear a test sound.
If a phone drops out for a moment, it’s straight back in the game. If your party goes wrong because of an outage on our side, you get your money back, no discussion (chapter 5). Just email us.
9. Help
If you have a question or something gets stuck, email hello@quizplayground.com. You get an answer from a person, not a bot.
With Bruiloft you can also reach us on the day of the party itself. We agree how beforehand.
10. Changes
If we change these terms, you’ll see it in the date at the top. For big changes we email organizers with an account.
Version 1.4, 2 October 2026. We send earlier versions on request.
