How Does Quiz Playground Work?
Quiz Playground aims to provide fun and interactive formative assessment through games. In our platform, the students are able to play any game on the site, leaving the teacher to focus on the student data.
Yes! Students can play any game on the site for free, and there is never any registration required for students. The students simply enter the Quiz ID to begin the game. Students can also click the trivia button to play a game with trivia questions instead of teacher quizzes.
If the teacher has a premium acccount the students can also enter the teacher ID at the beginning of the game so assessment results are reported to the teacher.

The premium membership unlocks the full potential of Quiz Playground. Teachers are assigned a Teacher ID, which enables the teachers to view the student results. In addition, the premium membership allows teachers to upload quizzes as a csv file or create quizzes from scratch. Also, with premium, teachers can copy and edit any of the public quizzes posted by other teachers.
The premium membership is $5.00 per month and can be cancelled at any time. We use Stripe to handle all of our billing, so you can be assured your payment information is handled securely.
Students are never required to create an account. Students can play any game on the site for free without an account. If a teacher assigns a quiz to a class, students only have to include the Teacher ID to view results in the teacher dashboard.
After registering for a premium membership you will receive your Teacher ID and access to your dashboard. Within the dashboard you can make changes to your membership, view quiz results, edit/view your private quizzes, create a new quiz, or upload a csv quiz using the provided template.
We try to add a new game monthly. Currently, we have a platform game and a cannonball shooter game, but we have plans for a 3D infinite runner as well as multiplayer games.

Teachers can use the assign button in the teacher dashboard to present the Quiz ID and Teacher ID for the students, but it's not required. As long as students type in the appropriate Quiz ID and Teacher ID, the teacher will see the results in the teacher dashboard.
No, you do not have to enter dashes, but you can if you want. The game will start correctly either way.
The frequency of the questions varies. For example, in the platform games, an endurance meter is filled to 100% if the student answers correctly. The meter fills to only 30% on an incorrect response. In all games, a correct answer provides more of a reward than an incorrect answer.
Yes. All questions and multiple choice answers are scrambled in the games.
