Questions
Good question. Here's the answer.

How it works
A party quiz about the guest of honor. Guests send in memories beforehand. We turn them into a show, with rounds like Who wrote this? and Real or made up? At the party the show runs on the TV and everyone plays along on their own phone.
Creating a party takes two minutes. Then you share one link in the family chat. Once the stories are in, you press Build my show and check the questions. Count on about ten minutes.
Of course. The buttons are big and have a colour and a shape. Relaxed play is on by default, with no points for speed. Extra reading time is one switch away, and nobody is ever shown at the bottom. No smartphone? Then she plays together with someone on one phone.
Then the show makes more general rounds, and everyone answers three quick questions on arrival. Want to give them a nudge? With Send a reminder in the Studio you share a ready-made message with the link. In the last three days before the party the Studio points you to it.
Not through us. Only you see what comes in, and Sarah sees the show itself only at the party.
You, or whoever you like. Your phone becomes the remote, with a cheat sheet of what you can say. One big button always says what the next step is.
Privacy
Beforehand only the organizer, in the Studio. A guest only sees what they sent in themselves, and Sarah sees nothing. Who sees what at the party and afterwards is in the privacy statement.
How long we keep what is in the privacy statement, per kind of data: your contributions, your photos, your account and your payment. No need to wait: with Delete everything in the Studio your party is gone within a minute.
Yes. With Delete everything in the Studio it's all gone within a minute, on our side too: contributions, photos and the show. Only during a running show it has to wait.
Yes. On the phone they sent it from, until the organizer locks the show. After that, or from another phone, they ask through the contact form, also after the party.
Which services we use and where they are, you can read in the privacy statement. We store photos without their location and other hidden data. And we don't use face recognition: only the guests say who is in a photo.
Anyone can play, with just a nickname. Sending in memories is from age 16.
Paying
Proefrondje is free, for up to 8 players. Feestje costs €19 (up to 30 players) and Groot feest €39 (up to 80). All including 21% VAT, once per party.
No. Every party starts free on Proefrondje. You choose a pass later in the Studio, when you expect more than 8 players.
No. You pay once per party with iDEAL | Wero or a credit card. Nothing keeps running. Another party next year? Then you choose a pass again.
When you get your money back and how to ask for it is in the terms. Did you buy an early bird pass through the waitlist? If it disappoints, you get your money back, after the show too.
If the show is full, you see it on the host remote. Choose a bigger pass there and pay the difference. Within two minutes the new players can join.
Yes. After paying you get a receipt by email, with the VAT listed separately.
Yes. Enter the company name and VAT number at checkout, and they're on your receipt.
Tech: TV, Wi-Fi and phones
The easiest way is a laptop and an HDMI cable:
- 1. Connect the laptop to the TV with HDMI.
- 2. In the Studio, click Open the big screen.
- 3. Click Start the big screen. Done.
Casting a tab to a Chromecast works too. Run the test beforehand with Test the big screen in the Studio: you see a test pattern and play a tone.
No problem. Phones also work on 4G, nobody needs to be on the same network. The big screen loads the questions beforehand, so the show doesn't stutter. If a phone drops out for a moment, it's right back in the game afterwards.
No. At the party you scan the QR code on the TV, type your name and you're in. Sending in memories works through a link, right in WhatsApp too.
An iPhone with Safari, an Android with Chrome or Samsung Internet, and the browser inside WhatsApp. It works best with an up-to-date browser.
No. Open the link again on the same phone and you're back in the game, with the same name and the same points.
